My name is Charley Miller, and I teach music at a small private school in the Los Angeles area. I also play ukulele – at school, at home, at church, in the car while I’m waiting for whoever I’m waiting for, and even in Africa once in a while. I’m a mediocre ukulele player, but I have a pretty good time with it and generally act like I know what I’m doing (which is all you need to do with the ukulele).
When not teaching school, I work as a freelance keyboard player and private music instructor.
This blog is about teaching, playing and enjoying ukuleles at school. I’ll share how I do it, and I hope some of you will share your ukulele-school experiences as well.
